Imagine you have spent time deciding whether or not to have a conservatory, or maybe you are looking for a solicitor to carry out your house sale, it might even be a plumber or an electrician that you need – you pick up the telephone and call them and one of three things happen…….

·         You get an answering machine

·         Someone answers and there are children screaming, or dogs barking in the background

·         The call is diverted to a mobile and the person answering it is obviously struggling to take your details

Now I want you to think how you feel about placing your important business with that company, do you feel confident that they can handle your work, maybe you would prefer to find another supplier with a more professional approach. I have called what appeared to be very professional  companies, great website and literature, good sales pitch from the Director, but when I called, I was greeted with “Hello” and children crying in the background – not “Good Morning, XYZ Company, how can I help you?” – suddenly my impression changed!

The business

From the company’s point of view – they have spent time and money on advertising, marketing, they may be very good at what they do, but unfortunately they gave the wrong first impression.

By hiring a Virtual P.A. who takes on call handling, that all important correct first impression is given. Virtual P.A.’s are very different to a call handling centre, we are interactive, we will return calls as well as receive them, there is never the noise in the background that gives away the fact the caller has now been answered by a call centre. Each client is an individual and the service is tailored to meet their needs. The average monthly charge for a VPA just answering calls is around £50 / month – this does obviously vary dependant on the level of calls.

Our VPA’s are charged by the second, so clients only pay for the time they use each month – so that’s a senior member of staff who is available full time, but costs on average £50.00 per month, and we normally save you more than that!
